Presentations of the SAMoo meeting

On Thursday, May 2, eLab has hosted at USI in Lugano the 8th SAMoo meeting, the meeting of the Swiss Academic Moodle community.

The presentations of the meeting are now available here.

The next SAMoo meeting will be on September 6, 2013 in Luzern, during the Swiss MoodleMoot 2013.

Master in Health Sciences, University of Lucerne

Starting in fall semester 2013, the Swiss Paraplegic Research center, together with the Department Health Sciences & Health Policy of the University of Lucerne, will offer a new Master in Health Sciences.

Some of the courses proposed in the program will be offered in a “blended learning” mode. eLab has been asked to contribute to the instructional design of these courses and to the implementation of a dedicated Moodle platform for their online activities.

New handbooks on iCorsi2 are now available

The handbooks on how to use iCorsi2 have been updated and enriched, and are now available online: you can find them in the HELP page of the platform.

Both the Student Handbook and the Teacher Handbook are available in Italian and in English.

The proceedings of the 1st Moodle Research Conference are now online

The proceedings of the first Moodle Research Conference, which took place on 14-15 September 2012 in Crete (Greece), are now online.

MOCLog at the first Moodle Research Conference, 14-15 September, Crete (Greece)

A paper about the MOCLog project has been accepted at the first edition of the Moodle Research Conference, that will take place on 14-15 September in Crete (Greece).

The paper, titled Monitoring Online Courses with log data, has been written by Riccardo Mazza (eLab), Marco Bettoni (FFHS), Marco Faré and Luca Mazzola (eLab), and will be presented in the session “Learning analytics”.
