The seminar on “Copyright in Education and Research” took place on December, Monday 14th, 2015 at USI Lugano.
About 30 participants attended the seminar, mainly from USI and SUPSI, but also from other educational institutions of Ticino.
Within the project DICE+, funded in the SUC P-2 “Access to scientific information”, eLab offers a seminar on Copyright in Education and Research.
The seminar will take place on Monday, December 14, from 16.30 to 19.00 at¬†USI¬†(Lugano campus; the room will be communicated later), and is addressed to teachers, teaching assistants and researchers of USI and SUPSI, and to any other interested persons. The seminar will be held by¬†Marcello Baggi and Anna Picco-Schwendener.
After an introduction to the Swiss law on copyright, the DICE methodology will be presented, which is useful to approach the most common questions on copyright; in the last part of the seminar there will be space for questions and discussions about specific cases proposed by participants. On November 12, 2015, eLab participated in the Long Night of the Careers at USI with a workshop titled “Build your career identity with LEGO¬ģ SERIOUS PLAY¬ģ“.
The workshop, organized by eLab in collaboration with CSC Im¬≠pre¬≠sa Co¬≠stru¬≠zio¬≠ni, attracted 15 participants from different study levels (Bachelor, Master, Phd) and from the Faculties of Communication Sciences and Economics.
During the workshop, participants had the chance to reflect on their own skills and competences and on their professional future using the LSP (LEGO¬ģ SERIOUS PLAY¬ģ) methodology. The workshop was¬†facilitated by Elisabetta Decarli-Frick and Stefano Tardini.

On February 2, 2015, a¬†LEGO¬ģ SERIOUS PLAY¬ģ workshop was held at USI Lugano with the Board¬†members¬†of the International Federation for Information Technologies and Travel & Tourism (IFITT).
Goal of the half-day workshop was to reflect on IFITT identity.
The workshop was held the day before the opening of ENTER 2015, the annual conference organized by IFITT, and was facilitated by Stefano Tardini with the help of Elisabetta Decarli-Frick and Shondel Bervini.

On November 18-20, the¬†conference¬†‚ÄúNew dimension of trainings for small and medium enterprises‚ÄĚ took place in Kielnarowa, Poland (at the University of Information Technology and Management).
The event attracted more than 50 participants, who could experience some innovative methodologies, including Lego Serious Play.
The S-Play team presented the project and its main results, such as the White Paper “LEGO¬ģ SERIOUS PLAY¬ģ – A state of the art of its applications in Europe”, the workshops held during the summer in the partner countries, and the e-demonstrator (online by the end of this year on the project website). In addition, Stefano Tardini facilitated a workshop to present one of the applications of LSP: URL – User Requirements with Lego.
In parallel to the conference, the last S-Play meeting took place. The project will end at the end of december 2014.
