On June 11th, 2015, from 10h00 to 11h00, Jingjing Lin will hold an online seminar on “MOOC Platform Panorama“.
Jingjing Lin will present the process followed to select the platform to host the first two pilot MOOCs of USI (more info at the project page). In her study, 18 different MOOC providers have been identified and analyzed according to¬†4 categories of attributes: general info, courses, technology and partnership.

On Thursday, October 16, ¬†at 11.00, a webinar will be held to present the simulator for the elicitation of user requirements for web applications, developed by¬†eLab in collaboration with¬†Lifelike Interaction.
Dr. Silvia De Ascaniis will present the simulator and the experiments that have been conducted with the students of the course ‚ÄúApplicazioni multimediali e nuovi media‚ÄĚ (USI, Bachelor in Communication sciences) to test its effectiveness.

A webinar on LEGO SERIOUS PLAY has been held on August, 28th, 2014 by Elisabetta Frick and Lorenzo Cantoni. During the webinar, an introduction to the LSP methodology has been provided, and its basic assumptions, theoretical foundations, core process and application techniques have been presented.
Furthermore, the two specific LSP applications developed at USI have been presented: URL (User Requirements with Lego) and LLED (LEGO Learning Design Experience).

During the webinar both URL (User Requirements with LEGO) and LLED (LEGO Learning Experience Design) applications will be presented. LLED is an application of LSP under development at eLab and NewMinE Lab, which supports instructional designers in the design of a learning experience (a course, a program, a whole curriculum, etc.), involving all the stakeholders of the project (participatory design, co-design).
