The eLab team consists in about ten collaborators, with different professional profiles:
Lorenzo Cantoni is full professor at USI – Università della Svizzera italiana (Lugano – Switzerland), he is currently director of the Institute for Communication Technologies and scientific director of the laboratories webatelier.net, NewMinE Lab: New Media in Education Lab, and eLab: eLearning Lab.
Stefano Tardini is the executive director of eLab, the eLearning Lab of USI, since its foundation in 2004.
Christian Milani was born and raised in Mendrisio and in 2003 graduated in computer science from SUPSI. Since January 2004, he is an eLab research assistant at USI.
Anna Picco-Schwendener is a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) and a scientific collaborator at USI’s eLearning Lab (www.elearninglab.org). She got a PhD in Communication Sciences with a thesis on “Social Dimensions of Public Large-Scale Wi-Fi Networks: The Cases of a Municipal and a Community Wireless Network".
Mattia Pera è un giovane designer in comunicazione visiva e si occupa principalmente di curare il design dei prodotti web, cartacei e video dell'eLab.
Yann Cuttaz was born in Geneva and moved in 2005 to Ticino. Since October 2014, he works as a Developer at eLab.
Goran Josic is technical collaborator at eLab. Graduated at SUPSI in Manno as computer scientist in 2003, he has been working at eLab since 2004.
Shondel Bervini Monkow was born in Mendrisio in 1992. From January 2015 she collaborates at the eLab as a filmaker.
Riccardo Mazza is graduated in Computer Sciences graduate at the university of Pisa in Italy. In 2004 he received a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences at the University of Lugano with a dissertation on the visual representation of students' tracking data in Web-based distance education.
Giorgia Mora was born in Lugano and, in 2010, she moved to Fribourg in order to study Educational Science.Since February 2016, Giorgia is part of the eLab’s team and she is involved in several eLearning projects, in particular the MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) promoted by the University (USI).
Selene Gervasoni was born in Lugano in 1993 and graduated in Educational Sciences at Fribourg University. Since October 2017 she collaborates with eLab, in particular she is involved in the “Competence Center in Digital Law” (CCdigitallaw) project.
